Holy Cross Crafters

There’s no joy like making something for yourself with your own hands, unless it’s making something to give to the Church Bazaar while in the company of good people from the parish!Members of this club will help you learn new crafts each Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at St. Joseph’s House.  The Crafters help the parish by making and supplying crafts to be sold at the Church’s Fall Bazaar.  If you enjoy crafts or have ideas for crafts, come and join us for coffee and fellowship.

Quilters

The Holy Cross Quilters’ group meets every Thursday morning at 9:30 AM to work on a hand made quilt for the Church Bazaar and raffle.  The Quilters also work on sewing projects for the church.  They enjoy their time in fellowship and are happy that their talents can contribute thousands of dollars for the needs of the parish.  To join the Quilters sewing skills are welcomed but not required.

Rosary Society

Members of the parish community come together to pray the Rosary for our Church, for the world and for all those in need.  The Rosary Society meets Monday at 2 PM and Wednesday at 6:30 PM.  All are welcome to come and pray the rosary before the tabernacle.  If you don’t know how, we will teach you.

Senior Coffee House

The Senior Citizen Coffee Group meets every first, third and fifth Monday, from 10 AM until 12 noon, to enjoy fellowship and good coffee with parishioners their own age.  Join us for mellow coffee and companionship.

Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration is a quiet, calm, private time in prayer or contemplation in front of our Eucharistic Lord.  When you look upon the Sacred Host, you look upon Jesus, the Son of god.  He is really there!  “I Myself am the Living Bread come down from heaven.”  (Jn. 6:35)  Each moment that you spend in His Eucharistic Presence will increase His Divine Life within you and deepen your personal relationship and friendship with Him.

Adoration is on Friday from 9:30 AM until 7 PM.  If you would like to join us each week for visitation and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, contact Kathy Garlow at 769-1098.
